The Hofmann Elimination is an elimination reaction of alkylammonium salts that forms C-C double bonds [pi bonds]. [note] It proceeds through a concerted E2 mechanism. In contrast with most elimination reactions that yield alkenes, which follow the Zaitsev (Saytzeff) rule, the Hofmann elimination tends to provide the less substituted alkene.

I understood sir butsir the paragraph which I have sent u they are saying that more substituted alkene in Hoffman elimination is less than other the reason they are saying about transition state and all plz explain againfrom that paragraph

    wait let me check

here in the case of halides, it is poor leaving group so here base attack on more acidic H atom and we know that acidity of H atom is 1°>2° and 3° so here 1°H eliminate first so less substituted alkene is the major product

in the case positive charge leaving group, it is best leaving group so it can easily eliminate and form alkene like translation state and we know that more substituted alkene is more stable so it will form

please accept my ans if you got it
