    suppose if Ea= 0 according to your question then collision between the molecule will be effective that means all the reactant will convert to product. it means there is no needed any amount of energy so reaction will be always exothermic in this case

    Activation energy is the minimum amount of energy required to activate the atoms or molecules or it is the difference between threshold energy from the potential energy of a reactant The activation energy can never be zero fora reaction why because according to arrhenius equation K = Ae^-Ea/RT Ea is the activation energy if it is O THEN, K = A, which would occur effective collisions between the molecule which is not ever possible.

    Option A is correct because activation energy is positive in all the case whether it is exothermic or endothermic except some exceptions.
