    When strong acid and strong base are mixed in equal volumes then the heat of neutralisation and the heat evolved remains constant, hence the increase in temperature in both the cases is equal. So, the increase in temperature when 5 ml of strong acid and 5 ml of strong base are mixed is equal to the increase in temperature when 10 ml of both are mixed.
