    As in first step there is formation of benzene rings which means the use of 6pi electrons i. e. is 4n+2 pi electron sustem. Then for cis confirmation we use disrotatory function. For next part of answer OsO4 is a reagent that always gives cis diol which is also referred as cishydroxylation process.so option 2 is the correct choice.
