    Correct option is d. Here Cr3+ preferentially interacts with O according to HSAB principle.(hard hard interaction) So, intramolecular rearrangement would not be prefered

    Cr3+ is a hard acid. When ONO is interacting then with O hard hard interaction is taking place. But if ONO changes to NO2, N being softer than O, hard soft interaction will take place which is not favorable
