Clearly out of the given option, Uranium is radioactive, so GMC will be suitable for the exploration of the respective deposits. Correct option (C). 18) In this case you just have to look for the half life of the various isotopes hence mentioned in the options. 14C = 5730 yrs. 10Be = 1.39 million yrs. 147Sm = 107 billion yrs. 210Pb = 22.3 yrs. So out of the given options, 147Sm seems to be compatible with the dating of Archean rocks. Correct option (C).
