Octahedral Al share to there left value of adjacent cation and Tetrahedral Al share with the Si atoms. So you have to balance both left and right side of the Al. And balancing is accordingly with the general formula which is given or you already learn. So let's we balance both the site left side of Al(octahedral site) and right side of Al(Tetrahedral site) with general formula. C5 T8 === (Mg3.8+Al1.2)⁵,(Al1.8+Si6.2)⁸. So here left sharing is Octahedral Aluminium which is 1.2 so this is the answer of this question but you also can answer about Tetrahedral Aluminium 1.8
