Bond angle order NH4+> H30+> NH3>NF3 Explanation:- Lone pairs causes distortion..In case of NH4+ there is no pair and hybridiastion is sp3 so it has regular tetrahedral shape and bond angle is 109°28'. In case of NH3 and NF3, check the EN of surrounding atoms.More is the EN of surrounding atoms ,less is the Bond Angle. EN of F>H so NH3 >NF3. In between H30+ and NH3 as electronegativity of oxygen is more than nitrogen...and more is the electronegativity of central atom, more repulsion it cause and hence more is the bond angle. So H30+>NH3

NH4+>H3O+> NH3> NF3 Explanation- Here All the species have same type of hybridisation i.e., sp3. so it it not a deciding factor further we will check no. of lp more the lp more is the lp-bp repulsion and less will be the Bond angle. Among these - NH3, NF3 and H3O+ have 1 lp so less BA. NH4+ have no lp. So NH4+ has maximum bond angle. in case of NH3 and NF3, we will check the EN of surrounding atoms. more the EN of surrounding atoms more less is the Bond Angle. F is more EN than H so NH3 >NF3. Overall BA-- NF3 < NH3 < H3O+ < NH4+

NH4+ will have maximum bond angle. Pure tetrahedral angle NH4+>H3O+> NH3> NF3

    sir

    why H3O+>NH3?

    eduncle-logo-app

As the electronegativity of central atom increases bond angle increases
