Most probably correct option has to be (B) Because both limestone and chert are formed by chemical precipitation and they both are somewhat related to organic origin. While sandstone and shales are clastic sedimentary rock that composed of clasts ranging from sand sized to clay sized(argillaceous). Chert is usually an organic rock but also occur inorganically as a chemical precipitate or a diagenetic replacement. It occurs as nodules(solution type sedimentary structures) concretionary masses, and as layered deposits.
