I solved this question. I am getting my answer similar to b) but with a positive sign.

    Yes mam.. I solved the question for e^(+x^2/2).. didn't see the minus sign

    Concept u have to know is that.....energy is independent of x means here no condition is given regarding to E so we will take it as 0.
