Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Talking about the Giant’s Causeway , it was formed between 50 and 60 million years ago, when the large region was subjected to intense volcanic activity. Molten basalt erupted through chalk beds and formed a lake of lava. As this cooled and contracted, cracks propagated across the plateau to form hexagonal stepping stones(you will be amazed to see the spectacular hexagonal structures that resembles the honey comb structure on a colossal scale). So as you can see that the answer can be anything between 50-60 million years ago. So probable answer is-- 50-60 mya.
Yes it can be, but here in this case you can't really go for an absolute age directly. Like if you are giving answer from 50-60mya .. Then it should be considered as a correct answer.. Major age revision is what various geological records are based on ... So rather than giving exact age or absolute age, they must accept answers in the former range as specified....
what is Giant's Causeway?
Basically it's a formation that consists of spectacular columnar basalts. And you can find it in MP Billings (apart from giant's causeway, fingal's cave in Scotland is also a place of fascination because of the six sided well defined structure or one can say they consist of the hexagonal column of basalt that make up its interior walls). Both of these structures are given in MP Billings.
