  • Owishi Sarkar Best Answer

Correct answers will be A). Dioctahedral micas generally have 2 trivalent cations in the octahedral site. Micas with interlayer cation of charge more than 1 are called brittle micas. Margarite is a dioctahedral brittle mica but clintonite is a trioctahedral brittle mica. And regarding option D it is not necessary that Si will be more in tetrahedral site like for example Margarite CaAl2(Al2Si2)O10(OH)2 which has same number of Al and Si in tetrahedral site. So, the only correct option is A)
