Most probably the answer has to be (C)... Mid Atlantic Ridge was formed mainly at divergent plate boundary or accreting plate Boundary ( accreting boundary also called spreading ridges). Mid Atlantic ridge like other ocean ridge systems, has developed as a consequence of the divergent motion between the Eurasian and North American, and African and South American Plates. In this way, as the plates move further apart new ocean lithosphere is formed at the ridge and the ocean basin gets wider. Consuming as the name suggest it is a Convergent plate boundary or destructive plate boundary which may form trench, island arc system, etc.
