The 1st answer is South as Himalayan area is mainly a compressional margin and the Indian subcontinent lies on the subducting plate. With a number of reverse faults the tectonic transport direction is towards South as faults like MBT and MFT are south of MCT. The second answer should be Ganga Basin as compared to other options it is the youngest structural element. Narmada-Son lineament occurred due to extensional forces working during Permian- Carboniferous times and Indus Suture Zone is also older as Ganga valley originated after the major Himalayan upliftment had occurred and Krol Nappe is also older.
