    Answer: (a) and (d) Speed of the tsunami (meters/second) is equal to the square root of g (the acceleration due to gravity, which a constant 9.81 meters/second) times the water depth (d) at which the disturbance occurred (meters). i.e. velocity = sqrt (g × depth) i.e. (velocity)^2 = g × depth So, the graph between v2 and depth (d) will be a straight line with zero intercept and graph between v and depth (d) will be a parabola. So the correct answer should be curve (a) and (d) shown in the question
