The answer should be C) lithosphere- asthenosphere boundary. The options A) B) cannot be correct as crust and mantle divisions are based on mainly compositional properties. The last option cannot be correct as at 100km depth lithosphere-asthenosphere boundary occurs.

Most probably the answer will be (C).... Lithosphere -Asthenosphere boundary is the rheological boundary layer in earth . If we subdivide the Earth based on rheology, we see the lithosphere, asthenosphere, mesosphere, outer core, and inner core. However, if we differentiate the layers based on chemical variations, we get different layers as crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core.

Answer (C) Lithosphere-Asthenosphere boundary. Rheological property of materials changes from rigid (in lithosphere) to plastic (in asthenosphere). This lithosphere-asthenosphere boundary lies at a depth of around 100km. All other boundaries marks the compositional changes of material.
