Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Answer: Reverse Fault The given fold is a plunging antiform because both the limbs are dipping away from each other and hinge line is inclined. Now, since the fold's nose is shortening in the northern side of the fault which indicates that the block on the northern side of the fault has come up and got eroded. This will lead to appearance of short fold nose in northern direction. Now the northern block has come up and northern block is also the hanging wall of the fault; it means that hanging wall has gone up relative to foot wall. That's why the answer should be reverse fault.
