    It has to be orpiment. Orpiment shows total internal reflection due to (i) High refractive index, (ii) Very high birefringence. Some other minerals like Sphalerite, Cinnabar, Rutile, Cassiterite, Wolframite, also shows this optical property.

    PYRITE MINERAL SHOWS TOTAL INTERNAL REFLECTION THAT IS DUE TO THE GREATER HARDNESS OF PYRITE AND INTERMINERAL BREAKAGE .. LIGHT ONCE ENTERS COLLIDES IN THE BROKEN PART AND INTERNALLY REFLECTS .. LOOKS LIKE STAR IN NIGHT SKY.
