    Answer (b) 2,1,3,4 Dike 2 is terminating along the oldest succession which suggests that dike 2 is oldest. Furthermore dike 1 is cutting the relatively younger section. Dike 3 has crossed on two beds of the shown horizontal section and dike 4 has cut all the youngest sections. It suggests that the correct sequence of formation of dikes from oldest to youngest is 2,1,3,4. There is some misprinting at the intersection point of dike 1 and 2, so you might face difficulties in finding the relative age of dike 1 and 2. However, if you will look at the termination points of both dikes (1 and 2) then it will become clear that the dike 2 is older than dike 1.
