    Answer: 100m Description: Draw a strike line of height 500m passing through point B. The coal seam, which is present at 400m will also intersect this strike line on plan view. This means that the coal seam is 400m level below point B (elevation of B is 500m). So, the vertical borehole will intersect at a depth of 100m (500m-400m) at point B.

    Sir, how would we find it if the Strike line that we have drawn wouldn't interest the coal seam at 400m contour? What would happen if it intersects the coal seam in some other point other than the 400m contour
