    Since the interaction is taking place along Z- direction so answer will be option B .

    I think you must understand when non bonding orbital is form . let's assume The overlapping of px orbital and py orbital of two atoms . The don't overlap since they are perpendicular to each other.(orbital mix when they have same axis of overlapping). if orbital overlapping Axis are perpendicular to each other form non bonding orbital. Non bonding also occurs if both the both constructive and destructive overlapping occurs simultaneously.
