According to Special theory of relativity, speed of light is const irrespective of the frame of reference. Why is that light speed decreases when it passes thru a medium of ref index greater than air???

    here that the postulate of speecial theory of relativity are applicable in free space ...and for medium velocity decrease by n. where n is refractive index of the medium.... best ...
