    you only need to see constant term and coefficient of t^3. you have no need to solve the equation. in option you have cyclic matrix whose determinant is known to you or you can solve option (a). because other are only constant multiple of that. but I advice you learn some standard determinant that will help you and from them some are given you in study material. answer (a). please see attachment
