    option B convert sawhorse to fisher and check the molecule. if molecule have atleast 2 chiral centre and have POS then these are meso and meso compounds are identical of each other. meso compounds are optional inactive due to internal compensation

    Both structures are not eclipsed. Make them eclipsed first.

    They can rotate about C-C single bond. You will see that all the identical groups will be eclipsed.

    If you'll convert that eclipsed structure into Fischer projection, You'll find a plane of symmetry.

    Wo bhot time consuming ho jayega Reshav. Fir bhi main bta deta hun...dekho meso compound me kya hota h...Do identical optical active centres hote hain.. identical matlab identical environment..tum distinguish nahi kar sakte!! Us case me ek centre 'R' hoga toh dusra definitely 'S' hoga!

    Toh agar R wala centre clockwise ghumayega PPL ko..toh S wala similar amount me anti-clockwise ghuma dega...overall optical rotation '0' ho jayega! that's why meso compounds are optically inactive.

    Dekho Reshav, ek trick sun lun...agar Newman me jo eclipsing structure hote hain..agar usme har ek group ke peeche same group h..toh wo meso h..usme kuch dekhne ki zarurat nahi h!
