Second is more stable than 1st divya

    eduncle-logo-app

the boron octet is complete in 2nd one

    eduncle-logo-app

This is formal charges given not real charges

    eduncle-logo-app

    got Divya??

    eduncle-logo-app

In 2nd figure also ...positive charge is on more eletronegative fluorine atom..makes it unstable

    eduncle-logo-app

and charge separation also in 2nd

    eduncle-logo-app

so equally stable...but octet preference you give here ...as there is formal charge not real charge in 2nd one

    eduncle-logo-app

    hope you got this

    eduncle-logo-app

sir where is nitrogen atom here

    eduncle-logo-app

    sorry fluorine πŸ™ƒ

    eduncle-logo-app

any doubt divya you can ask me

    eduncle-logo-app

sir the positive charge on F generally makes unstable but as you said this is formal charge because of octet 2nd is stable.Am I correct

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes divya

    eduncle-logo-app

and octet of boron is also complete

    eduncle-logo-app

    Yes sir I got it

II>I Octate of B is complete so II is most stable. here B has vacant P orbitals in which F can donates lone pair to stabilize it

    eduncle-logo-app

    any doubt?

    eduncle-logo-app

sir in the rules they have given 1st preference to uncharged

    eduncle-logo-app

    octate has given 3rd prefrence

    eduncle-logo-app

yes, but we will prefer octate state

    eduncle-logo-app

because you know if octate state is least stable

    eduncle-logo-app

    doubt clarified sir

    eduncle-logo-app

    thank you sir

relative stability goes to uncharged molecules among them I is more stable than other

    eduncle-logo-app

both are stable but charged molecule i.e. high electronegative atom have positive charge so it is less stable than uncharged molecule
