1. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)

 

One of the top Research and Development Organizations in India. Probably, the one in which most of the CSIR NET aspirants are dreaming to work.

Candidates who want to be a part of ISRO after qualifying for the CSIR NET Exam can apply for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) or can apply for Scientists for research work.

ISRO considers CSIR NET Result for the selection and recruits on the basis of the candidate’s abilities.

 

 

2. Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC)

 

BARC is India’s premier nuclear research organization which was established by Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha. BARC is considered the mother of the R&D institutions such as IGCAR, RRCAT, VECC, etc.

CSIR NET aspirants can apply for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in this Scientific Research Organization. You will be eligible for JRF in this organization on the basis of your academic qualification and exam scorecard.

 

 

3. Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)

 

CSIR is among the world’s largest publicly funded R&D organizations. It is India’s premier R&D organization which was established by the Government of India in September 1942.

Every year, CSIR selects the candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The stipend of Rs 31,000/- per month will be given to a JRF for the first two years and then Rs. 35,000/- per month for the next 3 years.

4. Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)

 

DRDO is the R&D organization of the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. This organization is concerned with research and development in Defence Systems and Military Technology.

The DRDO offers Junior Research Fellowships to the CSIR NET qualified candidates so that they can carry out research work and can earn gain experience in the Research field.

The amount of the Junior Research Fellowship offered by the DRDO to the CSIR NET aspirants is Rs. 16,000/- per month + HRA.

 

 

5. National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG)

 

NIBMG is India’s first research institute for genomic medicine. It was established in 2009 under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.

CSIR NET aspirants who are willing to be a part of this organization can apply for doctoral research which leads to a PhD degree in the disciplines of Biomedical Sciences.

6. Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR)

 

IGCAR is the second largest establishment of the Department of Atomic Energy after Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. This organization is also one of India’s premier nuclear research centers.

It was established in 1971 with the objective of conducting a broad-based multidisciplinary programme of scientific research and advanced Engineering, directed towards the development of sodium-cooled Fast Breeder Reactor [FBR] technology, in India.

7. Centre for Studies in Social Sciences

 

Centre for Studies in Social Sciences (CSSSC) is a Social Science and Humanities Research and Teaching Institute in India. It was established in 1973 jointly by the Indian Council of Social Science Research and Government of West Bengal.

This organization offers the CSIR NET qualifiers to pursue a Doctorate degree. Following are those Doctorate Degrees:

D.Litt. in Arts; D.Sc. in Science, Engineering & Technology / Pharmacy

Ph.D. (Arts); Ph.D. (Science); Ph.D. (Engg. / Pharm.) in Arts, Science and Engineering & Technology / Pharmacy, respectively.

 

 

8. Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR)

 

TIFR is India’s research University that conducts research in the areas of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Science Education. It works under the Department of Atomic Energy.

CSIR aspirants can go for the Research Work in this organization by applying for the Junior Research Fellowship position.

CSIR aspirants having M.Sc./B.Tech/M.Tech. can apply for the JRF positions in this Institute.

 

 

9. Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI)

 

IARI is India’s National Institute for Agricultural Research, Education, and Extension. This Institute is also known as Pusa Institute.

Candidates who have qualified for the CSIR NET Exam can apply for the Junior Research Fellowship position in this Institute. 

Those who are having a 3 Years Bachelor’s degree and want to apply for the JRF, then they must have a CSIR NET qualification.

The amount you will get as a Junior Research Fellow in this Institute is Rs. 25,000/- per month + 30% HRA.

 

 

10. Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI)

 

The IVRI is a premier research Institute that conducts research in the field of veterinary medicine and allied branches. It was established in 1889.

CSIR NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) qualifiers can apply for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) position in this Institute.

They will be given an amount of Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA.

So, candidates who have taken the exam in both JRF and Lectureship are eligible to apply in this Institute.
