In this case delta is negative then how can we say that delta exists?

    eduncle-logo-app

by definition of limit, we need to find a delta which is greater than 0, if we are not find such delta then whatever we assume that limit exist was false and hence limit doesn't exist. . . . . . . . . . . . when we have given f as function and L is limit(may or may not be fun. limit) , then we assume | f(X)-L | <€ for some €>0, then we need to find delta >0 such that | x-L |< delta. then L is limit of f, if no such delta is found then L is not limit of f

delta always > 0, if you find delta < 0, then either you do incorrect calculation, or limit doesn't exist
