    Correct answer is D. Extinction angle is generally an angle between the cleavage plane or crystal face (im short Crystallographic direction) and a vibration direction. Where 0° corresponds to parallel extinction , 45° to the symmetrical extinction and rest to the inclined (oblique) extinction. Here I'm attaching a figure so that you can get an idea about various types of extinction. Note: For more idea about extinction, go through the optical mineralogybook by Paul F Kerr, very simple and easy to understand(this figure is from that book only).
