Sir,define each term in the option.

According to me the option should be option C but it's A .

    Answer (C) Hinge line The line formed by connecting the point of maximum curvature on the folded surface is known as the hinge line. Crest is the point of maximum elevation on any fold. Crest and hinge point may or may not be same. Axial trace is the line of intersection of the fold axial plane and ground.

    Hinge line is the line connecting point of maximum curvature . Crest is point of maximum height in fold. Axis is line which when placed parallely creates whole fold in case of cylindrical fold. Axial trace is the line of intersection of axial plane with any plane.
