MOHO is the boundary between crust and mantle and that boundary (roughly a 2D surface) lies nearly around 11kms below the surface. MOHO is just a plane separating crust and mantle, thickness of MOHO is considered as zero.

1.There is no gap Mohorvicic discontinuity is just below the oceanic crust.between crust and mantle. 2.the boundary surface between the earth's crust and the mantle, lying at a depth of about 10–12 km under the ocean bed and 40–50 km under the continents.
