    Answer B is wrong because top of Cuddupah Supergroup is Proterozoic (Precambrian).

    Yes, Both are different. Precambrian means "before Cambrian". Precambrian includes Proterozoic, Archaean and Hadean Era. Phanerozoic is completely different and it includes Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic Era.

    Top of cuddapah is overlain by kurnool by means of a unconformity and they all belong to Precambrian period so they are not Fossil bearing that's why not phanerozoic. And D is correct because bhuj having sandstone and shale lithology Major sandstone.
