    The valley created in Horizontal strata will show parallel contours because bedding plane depth will vary similarly as of the valley depth.

    Drainage basin are of different types incase of dendritic pattern horizontal starta is cut down by the main river as well as the tributary so creating branch like pattern. when observed in map view this will look like tree branch. image attached below
