The paragraph briefly supporting the nebular hypothesis i.e solar system has originated from a hot gaseous rotating nebula( gas cloud). that is why some planets like outer ones Jupiter,Saturn, Uranus,Neptune all having ring of gas around them. And due to rotation they are in a flat imaginary disc shaped orbital plane. the gases from which they are formed are very dense and cold yet very much weak and tenuous to break apart.
