Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Ans: 3470 km The exact radius of Earth's core is around 3470 km. Earth's total radius is around 6370 km and crust+Mantle makes up around 2900 km. So the core must be starting from the lower boundary of Mantle and goes down to the centre of core. Exact radius of the core should be = (Radius of Earth - Combined thickness of crust and mantle) = (6370km - 2900 km) = 3470 km
thanks but answer for this type of questions are quite different in other materials ..is this type of questions asked by IIT JAM exam??
If such types of questions will be asked in JAM then you will be given exact figures of earth'radius and thickness of crust and mantle. You will need to find the answer by using the given figures.
thank you
