Here exception arises only due to interelectronic repulsion in case of F2 molecule

hope now you are able to get it shib 😊

Flourine me intereletronic repulsion itna jyada hota hai ki wo Br2 se bhi kam dissociation energy rakhta hai

    Any more information shib

    please ask

The bond dissociation energy of fluorine is however, lower than chlorine and bromine due to its small size its inter electronic repulsion is very high . That's why the the bond dissociation enthalpy follows the order Cl2 >Br2>F2>I2.

please ask if you don't get anything 🙏

PH3 is drago molecule. So it has bond angle 94 ⁰

    eduncle-logo-app

but sir size of br is not small

    got shib??

    eduncle-logo-app

    have you check it shib😊

    eduncle-logo-app

but sir size of Br is not small

    eduncle-logo-app

shib...as you move from up to down in the group ,bond length increases so energy required to break the bond that is bond dissociation energy decreases...but here the exception in case of F2..In case of F2 you know due to small size, interelectronic repulsion is more so bond length increases and dissociation energy value is less than Br2 and Cl2 ...so then correct order becomes Cl2>Br2>F2>I2

    got it shib??

please accept the answer shib if you got it😊🙏
