Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Enthalpy of hydrogenation is defined as the change in enthalpy, which occurs when one mole of an unsaturated compound reacts with an excess of hydrogen to become fully saturated at atmospheric pressure and room temperature, the reactants and products being in their natural states under these conditions. This is the enthalpy change that occurs during catalytic hydrogenation. It is used to compare the stability of pi-bonded molecules, and as a probe of alkene stability. Order of enthalpy of hydrogenation is reverse of stability of alkenes. actually how much H2 is added on double bond depend on reactivity of alkene so most reactive alkene release more heat of hydrogenation
