    the less electronegative atom ion is written first followed by more electronegative atom or ion....so, NaCl is written not ClNa....same we can observe in oxygen difluoride as OF2 not asF2O..... whereas NH3 is more convenient in place of H3N...

    first we write cation and then anion. here Na+ is cation and Cl- is an anion so write it as NaCl. everything according to rule.

    but sir if we considered in some of complex compound why its be reversed first we write negetive part then positive

    Ionic compounds consist of cations (positive ions) and anions (negative ions). ... In all cases, ionic compound naming gives the positively charged cation first, followed by the negatively charged anion. Thus NaCl will have to be written as NaCl only, not as ClNa.
