    okay let me explain you in easy way - Q has rank 2 and the matrix is 3x3 now by the written statement that I have attached by that we can say the the linear transformation will be the matrix of (3)^2 x (3)^2 i.e 9x9 matrix. Now a 3x3 matrix has rank 2 means there are 2 rows which are linearly dependent and one row is linearly independent i.e all the elements in that row are 0 , so in 9x9 matrix we will have 6 linearly dependent rows and 3 linearly independent rows , so rank is 6.......here I have considered some random matrix Q you can consider any of rank 2

    ans 6 - by this statement we can say that the T is a 9x9 matrix and for 3x3 matrix we have rank 2 so for 9x9 matrix we will have rank 6
