neha there is absence of d orbital in F so it is unstable whereas there is presence of d orbital on Cl so CCL3- is stable...So Cf3- is not stable by resonance

Why is CCl3(-) more stable than CF3(-)? It is because Cl has a vacant 3d-orbital and it can stabilize the negative charge by the mesomeric effect, which is not the case with F. This is also the reason why CHCl3 is a stronger acid than CHF3.
