Stability of resonating structures

    Structure (A) is the least stable resonating structure because in this structure the negative charge is present on the carbon atom attached −OCH3 group which is electron donating in nature which will destabilize the molecule.

    But in case of A, the unlike charges are at a minimum distance which increases the stability, right? Its holds the same for option B as well
