Suppose that a is 2 x 2 matrix that has eigenvalues-1 and 3. 20. then for each positive integer n, a, and b, are such that a1 = aa + b, where i is the 2 x 2 ide

Suppose that A is 2 x 2 matrix that has eigenvalues-1 and 3. 20. Then for each positive integer n, a, and b, are such that A1 = aA + b, where I is the 2 x 2 identity matrix. A" = ((-1)"+ 31) A + k ((-1)y-1+ 3)! then the value of k is f

I don't think this is a correct Question as A^2 = 2A+3 ,if you put n=2 in that equation including k , it doesn't satisfy even for coefficient of A.
