Teacher,,,,can you plzz explain the concept of crystal class and miller indices.... i'm unable to solve the questions related to this topic..

    Answer: Dodecahedron (110) It's very simple. There are three axes in crystallographic system which is a, b and c. If any face of a form (group of identical faces related by symmetry) cuts three axes at length x, y and z then the Miller indices is proportional to their reciprocal length. In the given question it is given that intercept for a, b and c axes is 1,1 and infinite respectively. so the Miller indices should be (1/1, 1/1, 1/infinite) i.e. (110) Dodecahedron should be the answer.
