    C- C bond length = 154 pm C-X bond length = 100 pm 1 pm = 0.01 Angstorm Radius of C = 154/2 = 77 pm (Rc) = 0.77 angstorm Radius of X = 100/2 = 50 pm(Rx) = 0.50 angstorm Now, Length of C- X Bond Length = Rc + Rx - 0.09(EN of X - EN of C) = 0.77 + 0.50 - 0.09(3-2) = 1.27 - 0.09 = 1.18 angstorm = 118 pm
