The Co-ordinates of the displacement of a paticle of mass m are given by: x = a1 sin (wt + o1) and y = az sin(wt + pz). Eliminate t to show that the particle follows an elliptical path. Also show that the particle will followa straight line path if (p2-¢1) = nT wheren = 0,1,2,3,4 ... 2.
