The boiling point of these compounds depend on other factors such as: Vander Waal forces, Dispersion forces etc. In dispersion forces, as the molecule has more molecular weight, i.e., it has more electrons, then these forces will get stronger. It is because of the increases the temporary dipoles that are set up. This is why the boiling points increase as the molecular weight of the compound increases. In the given compounds, o-bromophenol has the highest molecular weight, thus highest boiling point will be of o-bromophenol, then o-chlorophenol and o-fluorophenol having the least molecular weight will have the least boiling point. Therefore, Order of Boiling Point is: (III)>(II)>(I)

but hydrogen bonding increase bp increase

    please explain

    eduncle-logo-app

Here hydrogen bonding and eletronegativity of halogens are not the deciding factors for boling point comparison

    eduncle-logo-app

Here boiling points of these molecules depend on dispersion forces or vanderwaal forces
