Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

The boiling point of these compounds depend on other factors such as: Vander Waal forces, Dispersion forces etc. In dispersion forces, as the molecule has more molecular weight, i.e., it has more electrons, then these forces will get stronger. It is because of the increases the temporary dipoles that are set up. This is why the boiling points increase as the molecular weight of the compound increases. In the given compounds, o-bromophenol has the highest molecular weight, thus highest boiling point will be of o-bromophenol, then o-chlorophenol and o-fluorophenol having the least molecular weight will have the least boiling point. Therefore, Order of Boiling Point is: (III)>(II)>(I)
