0.63 You have to know the Optical Rotation of Glucose and Fructose. Let the resultant solution (after hydrolysis) contain ‘x’ D-Glucose and ‘(1-x)’ would be D-Fructose and the optical rotation of the solution is 0. The optical rotation of D-Glucose is +52.7 and that of D-Fructose is -92 So, 52.7(x) - 92(1-x) =0 x=.6333 so 63.33% of solution has been hydrolysed.
