Paraboloid is a shape you obtain when you rotate the parabola on its symmetric axis. The parabolic mirror is used in automobile headlights , solar concentrator , dish antennas , radar , etc. If You keep a light source on its focus then you get parallel beam. If You let the parallel beam fall on it then you get all lights rays focused on the focal point of mirror. so, option A represent the equation of parabola.
