South 70 east is the dip direction of the forest beds so it's the paleocurrent direction... N20E +90= 110 that is in 2nd quadrant

  • Owishi Sarkar Best Answer

The answer is C) S70°E as it is the direction of dip of foreset. The dip direction of foresets gives the palaeocurrent direction.

But the forset is dipping in the S 22degrees E right? What you are considering is the strike isn't it?

    eduncle-logo-app

The strike is N20°E and the dip direction is strike +90°. 22° is dip amount.
