Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Transmission mode refers to the mechanism of transferring of data between two devices connected over a network. It is also called Communication Mode. These modes direct the direction of flow of information. There are three types of transmission modes. They are:
1. Simplex Mode : In this type of transmission mode, data can be sent only in one direction
2. Half duplex Mode : Half-duplex data transmission means that data can be transmitted in both directions on a signal carrier, but not at the same time.
3. Full duplex Mode : In full duplex system we can send data in both the directions as it is bidirectional at the same time in other words, data can be sent in both directions simultaneously.
