Actually in case of first and second , I was considering the no. of alpha- H atoms. First one has 3 alpha-H and second one has 2 alpha- H. So I got a bit confused. But now I got it. Thank you

Please ask if you don't get

Here inductive is also there but hyperconjugation is dominant factor. Hence we compare by no. of alpha H

2nd is more stable than 1st

The greater number of alkyl groups with +I effect tend to increase the electron density on the positively charged carbon atom and dispers ethe charge on it.So, propyl carbocation is more stable than ethyl carbocation

neha if you consider hyperconjugation effect then ethyl carbocation is more stable than propyl carbocation because in ethyl there is 3 alpha hydrogen and in propyl there is 2..but which effect dominates it is still confusion among various chemists...some say by considering heat of formation that propyl carbocation is more stable and due to inductive effect too...

carbocation stability always keep in mind 3rd degree greater than 2nd greater than 1st

so here stability order is 3>2>1
